Dr. Schuster was raised in Mansfield, TX, and knew she wanted to be a dentist by age 4. She received her undergraduate degree in nutrition from Texas A&M University and her dental degree from the prestigious UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. Before establishing Magnolia Ridge Dentistry, Dr. Schuster worked at a pediatric dentistry practice for five years. This set in motion her dedication to helping children align their smiles, prevent the potentially long-term repercussions of tongue ties, restore airways and breathing, and improve their overall quality of life.
Dr. Schuster has completed advanced training in specialized areas, including implantology, full mouth reconstruction, and orthodontics for airway expansion. She is also passionate about enhancing patients’ smile aesthetics through cosmetic dentistry procedures, such as porcelain veneers and teeth whitening. Dr. Schuster maintains memberships in professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Early short-term interceptive orthodontic treatment in Melissa, TX, with simple appliances, can efficiently correct certain malocclusions and help reduce the complexity or even avoid the necessity of complex and expensive procedures during the teenage years. While most orthodontists offer Phase 1 and Phase 2 orthodontics, Dr. Schuster is one of the few practitioners in the US who provides Phase 0 orthodontics to improve functional issues that can negatively impact more than bite alignment in children younger than age 7.
An orthodontic appliance called a palatal expander has proven beneficial in younger children with sleep-related breathing disorders. It gently and gradually widens the roof of their mouths (palates) to increase airflow. In addition to providing Invisalign® clear aligners to patients of all ages, Dr. Schuster is skilled in the Damon System, an alternative to metal braces that uses clear brackets to reduce friction and improve oral hygiene by eliminating elastic ties.
Frenulums are the tiny folds of tissue that connect your tongue and upper lip to the floor of your mouth and gum, respectively. The repercussions of a shortened lingual frenulum (tongue-tie) go beyond breastfeeding challenges in infants and speech issues in children. Untreated tongue-ties have been shown to lead to mouth breathing and abnormal oral cavity development, increasing the risk of airway collapse during sleep, obstructive sleep apnea, and associated symptoms.
A restrictive labial frenum is associated with an increased risk of cavities in incisor teeth, gum recession, gaps between the two front teeth, and crowding in adjacent teeth. Thanks to advanced laser technology, Dr. Schuster offers quick and comfortable frenectomies in Melissa, TX, that reduce the risk of infection and recovery time while delivering precise, life-changing results!
Unhealthy oral health habits, years of natural wear and tear, and injuries can negatively impact dental function and self-confidence. A healthy foundation is required to restore teeth, so periodontal therapy is performed first if you have any signs of gum disease. Full or partial mouth rehabilitation or reconstruction in Melissa, TX, is a holistic, multilayered dental treatment involving extensive procedures to restore oral function and improve the health of your mouth.
Dental crowns are typically used to restore your natural teeth’ function, color, size, and shape if you have damaged or weakened teeth. If you have one or many missing teeth, your options include traditional bridges, implant-supported bridges, and dental implants.
At Magnolia Ridge Dentistry, we prioritize thorough evaluations and personalized treatment plans that address immediate and long-term wellness. Our friendly, compassionate team is dedicated to creating a warm, judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable and involved in their care. We aim to make your journey to better health a positive and transformative experience from start to finish.
